Getting Started

How do I create an account?

You can create an account in two ways:

  1. Sign up with your email address and create a password
  2. Sign in with your Google account for quick access

Once your account is created, you can start uploading photos and creating albums right away!

What is Tripic?

Tripic is a photo sharing app that makes it easy to collect and share memories with friends and family. Create albums for trips, events, or any occasion, and invite others to contribute their photos.

Albums & Sharing

How do I create an album?

To create a new album:

  1. Tap the "+" button on the home screen
  2. Enter an album name and optional description
  3. Choose a cover photo (optional)
  4. Tap "Create Album"

How do I invite people to my album?

You can invite others to join your album:

  1. Open the album you want to share
  2. Tap the share icon or "Members" tab
  3. Tap "Invite Members"
  4. Share the invitation link via your preferred method

Anyone with the invitation link can join the album and start adding photos!

Can I remove someone from an album?

Yes, if you're the album owner, you can remove members by going to the Members tab, finding the person you want to remove, and tapping "Remove."

Managing Photos

How do I upload photos?

To upload photos to an album:

  1. Open the album
  2. Tap the camera or "+" button
  3. Choose photos from your gallery or take new ones
  4. Add captions if desired
  5. Tap "Upload"

Can I delete my photos?

Yes, you can delete your own photos at any time. Open the photo, tap the menu icon (three dots), and select "Delete." Album owners can also delete any photo in their albums.

Are my photos private?

Your photos are only visible to members of the albums they're in. They are not publicly accessible unless you explicitly share an album invitation with others.

How much storage do I get?

New accounts start with a generous amount of free storage. You can check your current usage in the Storage section of your profile. Additional storage can be earned through our referral program!

Account Settings

How do I change my profile information?

To update your profile:

  1. Go to the Profile tab
  2. Tap "Edit Profile"
  3. Update your name or profile picture
  4. Tap "Save"

How do I reset my password?

To reset your password:

  1. On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot Password?"
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Check your email for a reset link
  4. Follow the link to set a new password

How do I manage notifications?

You can control your notification preferences in your device's settings under Tripic, or disable push notifications entirely from your profile settings in the app.

What is a referral code?

Referral codes allow you to earn extra storage! Share your unique referral code with friends. When they sign up and enter your code, both you and your friend will receive additional storage space.

How do I delete my account?

If you wish to delete your account, go to Profile > Settings > Delete Account. Please note that this action is permanent and cannot be undone. All your photos and data will be removed.

Troubleshooting

Why won't my photos upload?

If you're having trouble uploading photos, try these steps:

  1. Check your internet connection
  2. Make sure you have enough storage space on your device
  3. Ensure the app has permission to access your photos
  4. Try closing and reopening the app
  5. Make sure you haven't reached your storage limit

If the problem persists, please contact support with details about your device and the issue.

I'm not receiving notifications

To fix notification issues:

  1. Check that notifications are enabled in your device settings for Tripic
  2. Ensure push notifications are enabled in the app's profile settings
  3. Try logging out and back in
  4. Check if "Do Not Disturb" mode is enabled on your device

The app is crashing or not working properly

Try these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Make sure you have the latest version of the app
  2. Restart your device
  3. Clear the app's cache (if applicable)
  4. Uninstall and reinstall the app

If the issue continues, please contact support with your device model and operating system version.

I can't join an album with an invitation link

This could happen for a few reasons:

Try asking the album owner to send a new invitation link. Make sure you're signed in to your account when clicking the link.
